Background
The Awards celebrate and promote organisations and relationships within the sourcing community that have demonstrated high performance leadership and best practices in the sourcing and service management fields.

The Paragon Awards seek to acknowledge the achievements of sourcing leaders across three categories: 1) Best Sourcing Relationship in BPO; 2) Best Sourcing Relationship in ITO; and 3) Service Provider Innovation Excellence.

The finalists in each category will receive peer and industry recognition and an invitation to the Paragon Gala Dinner to be held at the Opera House Marquee in Sydney on Thursday March 29, 2012.

The Paragon Gala Dinner will be hosted by Claire Hooper, best known as a team captain on Network TEN's Good News Week.

One of Australia best known entertainers, James Morrison, and his band will provide the entertainment for the evening.

Past winners have included:

Unisys and the Australian National Audit Office
AMP and CSC
Infosys and the National Australia Bank

Paragon Award Entry Process

Nominations will be accepted until close of business Thursday March 1, 2012.
Paragon Awards Nomination Form

A panel of independent judges will review submissions and determine finalists and ultimate category winners. The finalists will be notified in writing by Thursday March 15, 2012 and will be announced on the ISG website – www.isg-one.com.

Winners will be announced at the Paragon Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Opera House Marquee, Sydney.

Award Descriptions

Best BPO Sourcing Relationship

This award recognises a mutually beneficial sourcing relationship in BPO. Entries should demonstrate:

  • Collaborative/constructive relationships
  • Alignment of mutual objectives versus competing objectives
  • A "one team" culture
  • Impact on:
    • Business results of the client
    • Operational efficiencies for the parties
  • Exceeding performance benchmarks initially set by the parties
  • Efficient cost to serve, providing client value and service provider profitability


Best ITO Sourcing
Relationship

This award recognises a mutually beneficial sourcing relationship in ITO. Entries should demonstrate:

  • Collaborative/constructive relationships
  • Alignment of mutual objectives versus competing objectives
  • A "one team" culture
  • Impact on:
    • Business results of the client
    • Operational efficiencies for the parties
  • Exceeding performance benchmarks initially set by the parties
  • Efficient cost to serve, providing client value and service provider profitability

Service Provider
Innovation Excellence


This award recognises a service provider's ability to introduce and implement innovation. Entries should demonstrate and quantify these service provider attributes:

  • Achievement of client's commercial and performance objectives
  • Service leadership through the introduction of new and/or innovative service approaches
  • Successful implementation of innovations
  • Exemplar of the sourcing industry

Conditions of Entry
The 2011 Paragon Awards are open to qualifying organisations in Australia and New Zealand. To be eligible for consideration, entries must meet the following requirements:

  1. A client must nominate a company/relationship that was active during 2011.
  2. All sections of the nomination form must be completed for the category or categories for which the applicant seeks nomination.
  3. There is no limit to the number of categories for which applicants may seek nomination.
  4. Each nominator must answer all questions on the nomination form. To go to the Paragon Awards nomination page click here Paragon Awards Nomination Form.
  5. Nomination(s) must be received in the specified format (see the How to Enter section below) Thursday March 1, 2012 to be considered by the judging panel.

How to Enter

  1. Go to the nomination form, by clicking Paragon Awards Nomination Form.
  2. Complete all sections of the nomination form by providing all information requested.
  3. An overall word limit of 3,500 has been stipulated per nomination.
  4. Submit your completed nomination by clicking the 'Done' button.
  5. Nominations must be submitted by no later than close of business on Thursday March 1, 2012.

Judging
Judges will mark each entry against the set of judging criteria specified on the entry form. Up to three nominees in each category will be considered as finalists for each award. Judges may want to conduct interviews with finalist nominees specified in the entry form to determine a winner in each category. If in the event, the judges agree that the calibre of the entries in a particular category is below standard, no winner will be announced.
